Most of these images were not taken by a professional, in-fact most of them were taken on an iPhone but after adding a little Nostalgia magic they have been enhanced and/or edit to the level desired by the client leaving them ready to be shared in the format of their choosing.
Some examples of my work and what I have done to achieve the results requested by the client:
Example 1: Remove items
Mummy ballerina took this very precious photo at Lola's first ever stage show.
I have refreshed the image and have removed the distracting objects leaving the same beautiful memory in place but leaving the image ready to share and frame.
Example 2: Amateur Photography
Nature Photography is never easy with so many forces that you cannot control. In the images below I have removed certain unwanted items such as leaves, twigs and teasels that were obscuring the view to my client's beautiful subjects.
Example 3: Photo Restoration
My client's original print seen in the video here was decades old but has now been scanned at high resolution, restored, delivered back in digital form to be kept forever, print & framed. I love getting my hand on old photographs and hearing the story that the images tell...
Example 4: Estate Agent photographs
The vertical lines in architectural photography are so very important, however under the pressure of the surroundings for a non-professional photographer (such as an estate agent) it is not always possible to get this and the many other important aspects of property photography right onsite.
The original image (Left, above) has been re-aligned, some cropped parts of the kitchen recreated using editing, the image quality improved, the colours adjusted, unwanted shadows removed & the view through the window retained... and all at a fraction of the cost of a professional photographer. For the lower margin properties this can be a very economical yet professional way for estate agents to edit their own property photography.
The all important blue sky effect! In the second example above I have edited the lines in the image and enhanced the overall look adding sunny highlights and also the blue sky backdrop. Its is amazing the difference that a blue sky can make.
I offer a FREE TRIAL on this service & also a FREE onsite appointment with estate agents to give them some tips and pointers on how to improve their photography prior to the editing process.
Example 5: Headswaps
This image has been built using 6 separate images and a technique known as a headswap. I have used the best image of each individual and combined them in the final composition.
In some cases I have enhanced the smile on the little ones' faces and have even rebuilt half of one face as it was obstructed in the original. I have also enhanced the background and removed unwanted objects such as weeds and a football. The background has been blurred to give the appearance of professional standard DSLR photography. The Client has now printed the final image, in high quality, on a large canvas.
And all of this from a iPhone images.
Example 6: Extend Boarder
This beautiful little dot's Mum managed to snap this photo when she paused for just a moment, she loved the image of her daughter but not the surroundings.
I removed the unsightly detail on the wall and extended the boarder, all whilst retaining the precious memory of the moment and all leaving the image worthy of the wall hanging desired by Mum.
Example 7: Background Removal
These boys had their photo taken by the school photographer and their Mum purchased the image copyright free, but she was not happy with some of the finer detail in the image.
I have now changed the background of the image to a more modern white, I have corrected their colars as requested by Mum and I have extended the boarder by recreating the cropped part of his arm allowing the image to be printed in the desired ratio and format.
